MATCHLESS GIFTS

Embraced in morning glory,

Wrapped in lambent light,

The warmth a radiant blessing,

Imbuing with delight.

Dawn rouses up the heavens,

Night must haste away,

It’s time for Lauds, the birds awake.

To worship and to pray.

The sun in all its majesty,

Aflame in crimson bold,

Lightly touches every cloud,

They glow in amber gold.

Flowers in field and garden,

Shimmering with dew,

Lift sleepy little faces,

To praise their Lord anew.

He lavishes His treasures,

And everyone is free,

No earthly prince can hope to match,

The gifts God's given me.

CATHOLIC & CHRISTIAN

I am so happy I’m a Christian,
I know Jesus Christ as Lord
He died for me so I could be
A little child of God.

I’m ecstatic I’m a Catholic
I belong to the elect,
Who receive Christ’s precious body,
In the Holy Eucharist.

I am so glad that I’m a Christian,
I walk by faith not sight,
Christ’s Spirit dwelling in me,
Is my joy and my delight.

I am so proud to be a Catholic,
Into the Kingdom I am led,
By the Holy Father,
Who is Christ’s visible head.

I rejoice that I’m a Christian,
But I am filled with gratitude,
For God’s gift of being Catholic
It’s my beatitude.

There are so many lavish gifts,
On me God has bestowed,
But the gift of being Catholic,
Is one I cherish most.
