Never like this
Have I loved before.
A flame has been lit,
I am all aglow.
Each day I find sweeter
As it goes by,
For I have discovered
He satisfies
My deepest of longings,
My most hidden needs,
He answers my prayers
In His Word and His deeds.
Though my physical being
Is aging I know,
My soul is more radiant,
As His love through me flows
He lights up my smile,
So the people I meet,
Can’t help but smile back,
When they look at me.
He's the peal in my laughter,
The lilt in my song,
The tear in my eye,
When a brother is wronged.
Never like this
Have I loved before,
For the Son of my God
Makes His home in my soul.
